This project focuses on deploying a secure and globally accessible DokuWiki instance using modern cloud infrastructure and advanced security layers.
🏗️ Infrastructure Overview
Unlike the local lab, this environment is hosted in the public cloud to ensure high availability and accessibility:
Compute Provider: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Operating System: Ubuntu Server.
Edge Security: Cloudflare (
DNS Proxying & Web Application Firewall).
SSL/TLS: Automated encryption via Certbot (Let's Encrypt).
🛡️ Security Architecture
To protect the data and the server, multiple layers of security have been implemented:
Network Isolation: Strict Security Lists in OCI and internal iptables configuration.
Brute-Force Protection: Fail2Ban monitoring SSH and web access logs.
Privacy: Cloudflare Proxy mode to mask the origin server's IP address.
